Grab the leash, a handful of poo bags, your dog, tie-dye shirt, and jump in the car to head to Woofstock. The celebration of man’s best friend takes place at Mary S. Young Park located on HWY 43 this Saturday. This marks the 2nd year in a row for this fest.
This year, Woofstock will benefit West Linn veterinarian office’s angel funds which help pet owners who can’t afford medical care.
It sounds like a lot of fun! There will be dog events like races, contests, agility tests and demonstrations, and beauty contests. A special guest apperance by Viggo, the West Linn Police Departments canine will be doing a demonstration as well.
Woofstock isn’t just for dogs. There will be alcohol, ribs and coleslaw there for humans. Any scraps that fall off your chin can go to the dogs, so clean will be easy.
The event starts at 9 a.m. with park tours led by Mary S. Young volunteers. Dog festivities get started at 10 a.m., with food, wine and beer starting at 11 a.m. and music at 11:45 a.m.

That sounds like a lot of fun! Hopefully the weather holds because I want to enter Josey into the beauty contest. The rain makes her poof up!
