Description
*The American Red Cross *is recruiting for an Executive Director to lead
the Oregon Mountain Chapter's fund development, public relations, media
relations, board engagement and recruitment and revenue growth. This
chapter office is located in Bend, OR.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in
Business Administration, Public Administration, Non-profit Management or
a closely related field with 3 or more years experience working in
Development, Marketing/Sales or Non-profit management. Candidates must
have demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities with the following:

Experience
achieving annual fundraising or sales goals, cultivating major
donors and donor prospects, and promoting public awareness opportunities

development and implementation of a broad based revenue
development plan

effective public relations and public speaking

directing total development programs and ensuring a functional
and diversified funding base

recruitment of volunteers for the Board and committees

management of volunteers to ensure the highest net income return

preparation and management of revenue and cost-effective
expense budgets

effective communication and facilitation of partnerships with
people of different cultures
