Business FAQ’s

Qualification for a posting:
GreenPosting reviews each posting. The Sustainable Qualification Summary should be thought out and truthful. The paragraph before the entry box has pointers.

Create a posting for my business:
Click on Advertise at the top of the page and follow the 1,2,3 to Post Your Business Free.

Postings On Hold/Denied:
Until a posting is approved by GreenPosting, a business posting won’t be listed in the directory. If more information is requested by GreenPosting when you’re in Denied or On Hold status, please Log In, edit your info, and press Update. GreenPosting will then review it.

Advertising on GreenPosting!
I’m happy to help! Just Log In. Go to you My Posting page where you edit your posting. Scroll to the bottom to you My Keywords and My Advertisements. Or contact GreenPosting.

Job Postings:
Click on Keywords, Ads, Jobs found under Advertise at the top of the page.

Address changes or removal:
Log In to your My Posting page where you edit your posting and make the necessary changes. We recommend putting in the city, state, and zip code so that the map pops up.

Easy Link doesn’t work:
Go to you My Posting page, which is the page where you edit your posting. Scroll down to the Easy Link section and you’ll see the actual link just below the box.

Events Calendar:
Any business is able to upload their events onto the Neighborhood calendar. Log In, then click on “Neighborhood Calendar”. You’ll see where you input your info.

My website doesn’t open up on my posting!
Remove the http:// and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Why isn’t my email and website hyperlinked?
This is an upgrade. Just purchase either keywords or contextual ads and then they will be hyperlinked.

Why isn’t my company name in bold on the results page?
This is an upgrade. Just purchase either keywords or contextual ads and your company name will be in bold.

Why can’t I upload my logo?
This is an upgrade. Just purchase either keywords or contextual ads and then your logo can be uploaded.

Categories for my business:
Only one category is allowed, but you can change categories at anytime. Increasing Keywords inexpensively will expand your chances of being seen.

Edit my posting:
Log in. Click My Profile in the upper right corner. Click on Edit my posting.

Status levels for members:
There are 5 status levels. Seed, Sprout, Sapling, Flowering, Fruiting, and Petrified. The amount of reviews you leave changes your status over time. If you click on your status, it will bring up the status level page.

Why do the email addresses have [dot] and [at]?
It can potentially help reduce the amount of spam.

My personal information:
We do not sell or distribute it to anyone. Please be careful on what you put on your posting, profile page, and in your reviews.

Reviews:
Positive and negative reviews come with the territory. GreenPosting allows businesses to respond to both positive and negative reviews.
