Sustainable Qualification Summary months out of the year I volunteer 5 hours 1 Saturday per month to work with the City of Portland and Neighbor Hoods in graffiti clean up. Once a month I attend a graffiti abatement meeting put on by the city of Portland to help with the fight on graffiti vandals. My job is dedicated to the clean up all over Portland/Metro and surrounding Counties. My job is to bring up the values of neighborhoods and businesses and keep out the fear that comes with graffiti. Of the 15 chemicals we use, the two toxic chemicals are only used when absolutely necessary and with each use, the chemical is neutralized with a vinegar solution making it harmless. And, it's vacuumed up as it is being rinsed and recycled through our waste water treatment plants. One vehicle we use is a 50cc scooter to cut back on emissions and the other a diesel truck for transporting the pressure washer. We recycle all containers and paper and bill on a quarterly basis to cut back on the use of paper, envelops and stamps, emailing invoices where possible. All of our containers that hold chemicals are in 100% recyclable plastic bottles. Old paint is sent to Metro recycle. Certifications Contractors license
