Sustainable Qualification Summary I produce very little medical waste. I only dispose of acupuncture needles. I do not use table paper. I use 100% biodegradable laundry detergent to wash the cotton sheets I use with each patient. I wait until there is a full load before I do laundry and only use cold water. I order herbs and recycle or reuse the cardboard box they come in. The herb bottle themselves are recyclable. I ride my bike to work and if unable to ride, I drive a biodiesel instead. I use recycled printer paper. If I have to shred paper, I bring it home and put it in my compost pile. I use organic massage oils.
