Green Drop Garage is Portland's only eco friendly, full service auto repair shop. Specializing in alternative, truly environmentally friendly technology we work on gas and diesel cars and cover everything including brakes, diagnostic/repair, electrical, engines and more. Want to go the extra step? We also specialize in vegetable oil conversions for diesel cars.

What makes us different (besides the veggie)? Green Drop Garage is more than just a repair shop! In our quest to become a community center we offer After-Hour Classes where you can learn how your car works and how to maintain it. Sustainable Qualification Summary
Need an oil change? We use a special brand of motor oil made from 100% recycled oil that's been processed and re-refined into clean reusable premium oil. Our oil exceeds all the rigorous industry standards, and is 85% more energy efficient to produce compared to “new” or “virgin” motor oil, which is derived from crude oil.

Available in both regular and diesel grade, our oil exceeds the standards set by the American Petroleum Institute (API), is SAE certified, and has been approved by General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Mercedes.

Want to really go green? Our shop specializes in converting diesel engines to run on 100% reused vegetable oil. Call or stop by the shop for a personal consult with our diesel specialist or just make an appointment. You can even learn how to do it yourself in our advanced After Hours Class on veggie conversions.
