Our shelters are easy to setup, pack, and store. Perfect for use as a camping yurt, festival yurt or a backyard retreat. Our yurts are crafted from FSC certified wood, natural canvas, and are 100% PVC-free. GoYurt Shelters are durable, beautiful homes you can take anywhere. Sustainable Qualification Summary Disappointed in the widespread use of PVC as an outer covering on most yurts, I decided early on that my shelters would be 100% PVC-free. This actually turned out to be much more of a challenge than I anticipated. Using a natural 100% cotton marine canvas addressed the vinyl in my cover but as I looked closer, I found out that PVC was a component in many other materials I wanted to use. I had to seek out PVC-free alternatives for things such as insect netting and source a special nylon coated tension cable, as this is typically vinyl clad. Our yurts are built using FSC certified wood with natural tung and linseed oils as a finish. I have done my best to make this shelter from materials that are pleasing to be around, and light on the earth. Green Certifications FSC Certified Yurts
