Our main objective is cutting down on carbon emissions by delivering only by bike. We also try to eliminate as much waste as possible by buying in bulk and delivering our cookies in reusable produce bags, which can be used once the cookies are gone to store fruits and veggies in your fridge for up to two months! We find this is better than cardboard boxes or any other plastic bags, since once there is chocolate, or any other food debris on them, they can't be recycled. We also re-use many of our ingredient containers as packaging for our smaller cookies that don't fit well in bags. We find it cuts down the cost of materials for us, as well as the amount of waste we produce.
