As second generation ceramicists, our unique products come from within. We are artisans making hand-crafted ceramic tile at our studio in Portland, Oregon. Handcrafted-American made art tile. Sustainable Qualification Summary What we’re about: We care—not only about the beauty and quality of our products, but also about our impact on the world around us. We try to do what’s within our power to conserve resources and leave a lighter footprint. That’s why we’ve committed to using 100% renewable energy to run our studio and production facility. Our crackle glazes contain 50% post-consumer recycled bottle glass and all our products are made with lead-free materials. Our shipping cartons and packing materials are made of recycled corrugated paper and cornstarch “peanuts”. And of course we reuse clay and glaze when possible and we recycle everything we can. Lastly, we donate our tile seconds and usable broken tiles to local schools’ art programs.
