The goats eat the unwanted plants which in turn reduces the need to transport debris to waste stations. They also provide nutrients to the ground through their own waste. Goats provide a clean and effective way to reduce invasive plants that overgrow other species. This allows native plants to again take hold and flourish. I got the same treatment as JH - occasional emails, but usually no response. She has not returned my deposit but I see she has posted a price list for 2012 on Facebook. Do Not give her any money unless you consider it a donation. She requested the check be made out to her. That is when the promptness ended. She was to get back to me in a few days on schedule. After several calls & emails, I was told the goats would be out the week of Apr 25. The week came and went without any calls or service. I have been asking for a date or a refund since 4/29. Calls go unanswered and most emails are ignored. Occasional email responses are non-committal. I am still waiting for my refund in June....
