We strive to bring together the people of Portland with international partners to create gathering spaces (i.e. building parks) that provide global models for environmental sustainability, design and cultural, educational, and economic exchange. Most recently, we are constructing an urban park with a sustainable learning center in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Sustainable Qualification Summary
Our ethos lies in serving as an experiential and educational resource for sustainability. The pilot project of Jardin Portland is the construction of an urban park in Portland's sister city of Guadalajara, Mexico focused on highlighting Portland's culture, landmarks, and sustainable practices in both its design and the construction of a sustainable learning center. We know that Portland is at the forefront in its understanding and acceptance of eco-centric and environmentally focused philosophy and practices, so we aim to promote this to areas where environmental consciousness is not a priority.
In order to fund this project, we offer Deconstruction and Sustainability Best Practices implementation and consultation services. These services allow us to provide a sustainable service in a demolition industry that is traditionally lacking in sustainable practices. We work directly with building owners and contractors, analyzing the impact of the building and find opportunities for material reuse, repurposing and recycling.
Executive Director has P.E, LEED, and A.P. certifications.
