Local Goods is helping the Laurelhurst School Community Recycling program by being a drop off center for their recycling program.
As you probably know, public schools are hurting for money. The recycling program is a way for Laurelhurst School to earn money while doing something positive for the community and the environment.
What we can take
- All writing instruments EXCEPT wooden pencils.
- Cell phones and digital cameras
- Plastic packaging for diapers and wipes
- Wrappers for energy, granola, nutrition bars, etc. They MUST have an inner foil lining
- Empty personal and beauty care containers. Includes items such as mascara tubes, lotion containers, hair gel containers, nail polish bottles, lipstick containers, etc.
- Standard size foil coffee bags, such as Starbucks
- Inkjet type cartridges and Kashi cereal boxes.
