Background: If you follow my photography, you will know my obsession with texture and detail.  This cousin of the dandelion was less than an inch wide, floating atop a very long, thin stem.  In spite of the fact that it was a still day, it took a great deal of patient waiting for complete stillness in order to capture this image without the movement of the flower causing it to blur.
