Movie Review - Forks Over Knives is a documentary highlighting two doctors' life's work in showing the overwhelming health benefits of a whole foods diet and the need to move away from the globalizing western diet of heavy meat and heavy dairy. After watching the movie, the evidence is clear that our diet makes a huge difference to our health and being. The hundreds of billions of dollars ($100,000,000,000's) to care for and medicate heart disease, osteoporosis, cancer and a myriad of other life threatening diseases can be greatly reduced by eating a whole foods diet. The human body is resilient, sensitive, and complex with the remarkable ability to heal. We now have clear information that only a socialist country would be able to compile that backs up what dedicated doctors and everyday people have been saying. The proof is in the soy pudding....yah, I went there.
After watching the movie, you'll be guaranteed to reevaluate your diet. But, will changes be made to it? That's the question. Is it worth a $10 ticket? No, but few movies are. Wait for Netflix or tweet them for free tickets.
