FREE Ecoroof Portland Expo Event3/10/2010 Building owners and home owners thinking about adding an ecoroof to their property can get all the information they need at Ecoroof Portland 2010 on Friday, March 12 and Saturday March 13, 2010.
Ecoroofs are vegetated roof systems that absorb rain to reduce stormwater runoff and last longer than conventional roofing.
Ecoroof Portland is a FREE event open to the public. Architects, consultants, contractors, landscape architects, manufacturers, nurseries, structural engineers and suppliers will be on hand to showcase the value of integrating ecoroofs into your building. Enjoy a full speaker program both days showcasing local ecoroof case studies and success stories. Attendees can also learn more about how to apply for a City of Portland ecoroof incentive to offset construction costs. Incentives pay up to $5 per square foot for new ecoroof projects. The typical cost of an ecoroof in Portland ranges from $5 to $20 per square foot.
