3/4/10 : His name is Robert Paulson. His name is Robert Paulson. No, that’s not true. That’s from the movie, Fight Club. His name is Lionel. He was killed for doing something he loved, eating salmon. For the past 7 years Lionel, a California sea lion named by Redland Elementary School, would feast on salmon at the Bonneville Dam. Started in ’09 because of a mulit-billion dollar salmon restoration effort, 11 California sea lions were leathly injected last year and Lionel is the first in 2010. Zoos and aquariums don't want them so it's come to killing them.
