The EV Project will pave the way for a successful rollout of electric vehicles in America and Oregon has been selected to be a test market! Oregon joins California, Arizona, Tennessee, and Washington as states to collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of electric vehicles in a variety of topographic and climate conditions.
2,000 electric car charging stations will be spread throughout Portland, Eugene, Salem, and Corvallis. An additional 1,000 Nissan electric Leaf vehicles are also going to be deployed in Oregon as part of this project.Those interested in staying up to date on the project or would like to participate with The EV Project can learn more at TheEVProject.com.
