GreenPosting is Greening the California Alumni Assocaition Camps

Recently, the founder of GreenPosting, Jonathan Davis has had the opportunity to work with the California Alumni Association in helping their summer camps begin taking steps to being greener.

A variety of new products have been introduced to the food service side as well as with day to day maintenance to help provide a healthier environment and working experience. 

Incorporating organic certified hand soap, all natural cleaning products, compostable and plant based utensils and cups, education, and overseeing the recycling program has shown to be steps in the right direction based upon overall firsthand feedback. 

These are small but neccessary steps for 2009.  Further research will be conducted with a variety of programs and products implemented for future summers.

With more ways than one, the first step in greening your company is to look at what is important to your company culture and its customers and work around those issues first.
