On Saturday I ventured out to Mary S. Young Park to enjoy the festivities of Woofstock. After writing about Woofstock, I thought it would be a fun event to see first hand.
To help bring back the days of one of the greatest music fests, each dog was given a tie-dyed handkerchief. There was good live music throughout the time I was there so I could walk around the booths, which had everything to purchase from dog food to a portrait of your pooch.
There were two courses set up. One was for agility and the other was for flyball which is a contest of speed, hurdling, and grabbing a tennis ball. Watching made me wish I either had a dog or was a dog. It looked fun.
