GreenPosting’s mission is to unite and empower a community of individuals and businesses that practice sustainability.

In order to determine company sustainability our screening procedures have been minimized and published.  We've created features to allow our users to screen posting companies for sustainable business practices. We believe that through user empowerment posting companies will earn a more thorough evaluation and limit greenwashing on GreenPosting.  As another measure of qualifying, GP does have procedures set up to safeguard greenwashing which you can read more about under Greenwash Prevention.

GreenPosting is created for anybody who is looking for a local green community and businesses alike.  We are developed to grow organically through user involvement as well as through provided feedback.  For the companies that post, we wanted to create a directory with essential features that support your current marketing strategy for the right price, FREE.

GreenPosting strives to be as paperless as possible.  When necessary, we print material on reused or recycled paper.  We conserve energy by using 100% renewable energy generated from wind, geothermal and biomass power to light our florescent bulbs.  We believe that our GreenPosting community’s voice should be heard, so we donate back to our community 1% of gross revenue to an organization of our patron’s choice.    Homegrown right here in Portland, we listen to our sustainable community as well as work with other local companies to organically grow our grassroots.
